Who this covers

This policy covers FCL Solutions, a landscaping and property maintenance business operating in Cook County, Illinois, and the website you are reading. Where it says “we”, it means FCL Solutions.

We work out of vehicles and off job sites and do not publish a street address. Phone and email reach us, and both are at the bottom of this page.

What we collect

There is exactly one place on this site where you hand over personal information: the estimate request form. When you submit it, we receive what you entered, which is:

• your name
• your phone number
• your email address
• the address of the property the work is for
• which service or services you are asking about
• your description of the work — whatever you choose to write
• your timeframe, if you give one

That is the whole list. We do not ask for payment details, a date of birth, a social security number, or anything else a landscaping quote has no business knowing. If you volunteer extra detail in the description box we receive that too, so treat it the way you would treat an email.

Separately, and like every website, our host records routine server logs for the requests it serves: an IP address, a timestamp, the page requested, and the browser’s user-agent string. That is part of operating and securing a web server. We do not use those logs to build a profile of you, and we do not combine them with anything you submit.

The form itself also counts recent submissions against the requesting IP address, so that one script cannot flood it. That count is held briefly in memory, is not written to a database, is not linked to your submission, and disappears on its own.

Why we collect it, in plain English

Because you asked us for a quote, and we cannot produce one without knowing who you are, where the property is, and what you want done. That is the entire basis for holding it: you gave it to us voluntarily, through a form whose only purpose is to get an answer back to you, and we use it for that.

We have no other interest in your details. There is no secondary use — no profiling, no ad targeting, no list-building, no reselling.

Who sees it

The owner of the business. A submission arrives as an email notification and is read by the person who will be quoting your job. It is not published anywhere and it is not visible to other visitors.

We do not sell, rent or trade personal information, and we do not share it with anyone for their own marketing. The only third parties involved are the service providers listed next, who handle it on our behalf in order to run the site and deliver the email.

The services we rely on

Three, and only three are relevant:

• Vercel — hosts this website and serves every page. It handles the request when you load a page or submit the form, and it keeps the routine server logs described above.
• Resend — delivers the notification email. The contents of your submission pass through Resend in order to reach our inbox, the same way any email passes through a mail provider.
• Google — we link out to our Google Business Profile so you can read reviews. We do not embed Google Analytics, Google Ads, Google Maps, reCAPTCHA or Google Fonts, so nothing is requested from Google unless you click that link and leave this site.

Markate, in future. We intend to route estimate requests into Markate, a field-service CRM, so enquiries are tracked properly instead of living in an inbox. That connection is not in place as at the date on this page, and nothing has been sent there. When it is connected, your submission will also be stored in Markate, this section will say so without the qualifier, and the date above will change.

How long we keep it

Estimate requests stay in our email for as long as the enquiry is useful — a quote you are still thinking about, a job we are scheduling, a record of work we did on your property that we may need to look back at. Once a CRM is connected, the same request will also live there for the same reason.

We have not set an automatic deletion clock, and we are not going to pretend otherwise. What we will do is delete your details on request, promptly, which is the part that actually matters.

Getting your details deleted, or asking what we hold

Call (224) 584-6297 or email cuttherest1@gmail.com and ask. You can ask what we have about you, ask for a copy of it, ask us to correct something that is wrong, or ask us to delete it. No form, no account, no process — a phone call does it.

We may need to keep a minimal record of work actually performed on a property, since that is a business record rather than a marketing one. If that applies we will say so plainly and tell you what it covers.

Cookies and tracking

This site sets no advertising cookies, no analytics cookies, and no measurement or marketing cookies. There are no tracking pixels, no session recording, no heatmaps, no social media widgets, and no third-party embeds that could set cookies of their own. There are no user accounts and nothing to log into.

That is why you have not been shown a cookie consent banner. It is not an omission — there is nothing to consent to. If that ever changes, the banner appears and this section gets rewritten before it does.

Children

This site is aimed at property owners and managers. It is not directed at children, we do not knowingly collect information from anyone under 13, and there is nothing here for a child to sign up for. If you believe a child has submitted their details through our form, contact us and we will delete them.

Security, honestly stated

The site is served over HTTPS, so what you type into the form is encrypted in transit. Beyond that, your submission lives in email, and email is a reasonably secure but not a confidential medium. For a landscaping quote that is a sensible trade-off. Do not use the form for anything you would not put in an ordinary email — gate codes, alarm codes, card numbers, where the spare key is. If any of that matters to the job, tell us on the phone.

Changes to this policy

If what the site does changes, this document changes with it and the date at the top moves. We will not quietly broaden what we do with your information while leaving an old policy up — the date is there precisely so you can check.

Governing law

FCL Solutions operates in Cook County, Illinois, and this policy is governed by the laws of the State of Illinois, without regard to its conflict-of-laws rules. Any dispute about it belongs in the state or federal courts serving Cook County, Illinois.
